Pintle Pedestal, Pin, Plate
A critical part of the entire base structure is the pintle-pin. It has to be strong to resist possible chassis movement during recoil of the piece. It must be well anchored to prevent upward movement. It must be close-fitting to prevent any oscillation of the chassis as it rotates about the pintle-pin. Our re-creation displays all of these important features.
